I spent the weekend in Cleveland watching one of my oldest and dearest friends get married to the love of her life. The Iannarrio wedding was everything I knew it would be, and I couldn’t be happier for the beautiful couple!
I love the city of Cleveland, and having a little extra time with my best friends we got a chance to spend some time at the Metroparks and go kayaking. I’d chalk this weekend up as a great one, my heart is full! I leave for Ireland on Tuesday and will be spending the remainder of the week in Galway. I can’t wait to fill you guys in on that trip!
Alright so after getting a little behind on my Muse Mondays, I’m starting to catch up on some of my recent buys! I spent Memorial Day weekend in Nashville celebrating one of my very best friend’s bachelorette party. My good friend Hannah and I were lucky enough to grab a hotel using some travel points and stayed an extra day to soak up the music scene.
We got a chance to check out Jack White’s Record Store Third Man Records. I could live in this place, seriously. Somehow I managed to only walk out with a record mat, but I’m pretty happy with it. While on our record binge, we stopped at another huge record store that supplied Third Man’s players, Grimey’s. They had both new and used records and books; I ended up walking out with Your Song Changed My Life by Bob Boilen, Leon Bridges’ Coming Home, and Gary Clark Jr. Live. These have been on repeat since I’ve been home (sorry Julia!).
My favorite stop of the entire Nashville trip was without a doubt Two Old Hippies. Hannah and I spent at least two hours here. I got a gorgeous lemon quartz necklace and a few goodies to take home as souvenirs. My necklace is the brand B.U. Jewelry, and I’m in love. We also got a little time in their guitar room and I got to see Hannah jam. This store alone is enough for me to make another Nashville trip soon.
To my Chicagoans- Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari’s old place is officially on sale. Anyone want to go in on the $4.75 mil it’s going for?
After having to take bereavement on top of PTO with my mom passing, I feel like I’m under a magnifying glass at work. Even though I’m blessed to have an incredibly understanding boss and coworkers, any mistakes I make in the next few months will feel like a mountain. Here’s how to bounce back from a slip up at work.
I know I’ve been swamped with wedding plans this summer, and Advice from a 20 Something has a great list of tips to afford attending weddings.

Now that it’s nice out, it’s safe to say Mexican food sounds good for every single meal. The best part is usually the appetizer, and Closet Cooking’s Mexican Corn Salad Dip looks incredible.
