Muse Monday Vol. 7

I had the most incredible time with my friends in Colorado this past week. We got to explore a little of Denver, Vail, and Breckenridge, all while sleeping in the cutest place in Frisco. Danielle and I tried our hand at skiing for the first time and she killed it. I fell more than once, but had such a blast (and I’m looking forward to trying again). Not only was this week’s company the best, but I think this may be my favorite trip I’ve ever been on. Colorado is beautiful and I’ll definitely be coming back. This upcoming weekend? I’ll be celebrating my 25th in my old stomping grounds, good ol’ New York City! Stay tuned.

Watchlist:

As planned, I binge watched 13 Reasons Why on Netflix. After reading the book back in junior high, it’s what sparked my interest in reading. I definitely have Jay Asher to thank for my library collection today. There were a ton of differences between the show and the book, but overall it was a pretty good depiction of the novel I remember. What did you think? And how cute is Clay Jensen?

And just because it’s Monday and I’m sure you need this as much as I do.

Reads:

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that I just cannot drink like I could in college. Unfortunately, I’ve learned this the hard way, but mindbodygreen gives a few tips and tricks to make the hangover a little less gnarly.

Because I’m not over the fact that Big Little Lies is actually over, here’s how much the beautiful homes in Monterey cost.

Having been traveling a lot recently, and having a roommate who frequents different countries almost mostly, I love reading about celebrity destination bucket lists; here’s Zoe Saldana’s.

Need to Eat:

With my new food processor, next on my recipe list is most definitely these flourless banana muffins from Chocolate Covered Katie.
