In light of the new year, I figured I’d do a post about the best way to stay hydrated…having a killer water bottle. Groundbreaking, I know. Unless the water supply is in the same room as I am while working, I’m usually avoiding getting up during the day unless it’s absolutely necessary (I’m incredibly driven and ambitious, I know.) One of my “anti-resolutions” I’ve been working on since my skin started slowly turning against me is to drink as much water as I can during the day. There’s countless benefits to drinking a lot of water. And whether you need a sidekick at the gym, are trying to cut out soda, or need motivation to get off your ass at work and get your 8 glasses in- these are what I recommend.
This is my tried and trusty workout water bottle. It’s glass with textured rubber (lol) on the outside anda twist off top. When I first got this it was on sale and I was hesitant to go for a glass option. The lulu employee assured me I wouldn’t have any issues and she’s absolutely right. I’ve dropped this more times than I can count and have never had a problem. Water stays cold and let’s be real, it’s a nice looking water bottle.
I got this as a gift from my friend Kailey (she’s a killer photographer, guys) before these ended up in every single store. These sell themselves; they’re cute, trendy, and the perfect size. I will say I’m glad I received this as a gift because the larger versions will run you over $40. However, if you’re using a water bottle daily, I’d say it’s an adorable investment.
Ah, the weirdest yet most addictive water bottles ever. These became popular (I want to say) my sophomore year of college. I’m not sure if it’s my oral fixation but when one of these is in front of me I’m constantly drinking water. That weird little rubber (again lol) top just subconsciously forces you to drink out of it at all times. This is definitely my top recommendation for staying hydrated.
I keep my Philadelphia Flyers tervis at work because of it’s size. It allows me to represent my hockey team and holds more than my other options at home. This is another oldie but a goodie; it’s great because it can be personalized to just about anything you can think of. Tervis has licensing for just about every team, college, and greek house on the block. I think you can actually even customize these with personal photos at this point (really). Just goes to show that a water bottle can *~totally represent you~*.
I’ve seen countless water bottles with quotes on them in stores over the holidays and have been in the market for a new one. What’s your go to water bottle? What motivates you to stay hydrated?
